Armoury
- Summer was relatively quiet. No major community complaints voiced though there have been some ongoing concerns.
Boyle Street Community Services
- Identification Program is up and running. They store original Identification and give clients certified copies. A 12 month pilot project: United Way & Homeless Commission
- New Outreach Workers: Nick McIntosh and Richard Hopkinson(?). Nick’s cell: 780-909-4249 Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Trinity Lutheran Church
- Soup Night is every second Tuesday 18:00
Strathcona Park & Playground Redevelopment Society
- Helps to redevelop park areas, including community garden.
- They have $25,000 flagged for Gateway Blvd Park
- The Society is still setting up and in need of volunteers.
City of Edmonton
- Upcoming: Decommissioning of the old QE pool. There will be community consultations as to what to do on the site.
- TIPTON: The rink (& also Southside Arena) are also slated for decommission. This will happen when there are ice surfaces (could be anywhere in the city) to replace these two venues. There will be discussions as to what to do with the arena site as part of Tipton Redevelopment. Don’t forget the Conversation Café on September 22 at QACL 19:00 – 21:00

Free Admission Day: September 25

Homeless Connect: October 16
Homeless Connect Edmonton is a broad-based community-inspired initiative, providing free appropriate services to homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless, on one day and at one location. http://www.homelessconnect.ca/

HomeFest is an annual concert to draw attention to the desperate need for more affordable housing and the eradication of homelessness.
Strathcona Community League
- Will partner with Ice on Whyte for the festival. To be at End of Steele Park.
- They need a soccer director.
- They are participating in EFCL Membership Day on September 17.
Responsible Hospitality Edmonton
Responsible Hospitality Edmonton aims to create a safe and vibrant community by providing the framework for collaborative and integrated systematic change to how we collectively plan, manage and police hospitality zones.
- permanent toilets: construction held up due to construction quotes coming in at higher than what was budgeted. A work in process.

- There is a Migrant Workers group that meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month
