Join us for a fun and exciting afternoon, to experience 106th street in a new way! For 106 Fest, we want you to walk or bike and explore what’s available on the 106th street corridor from the river to the Whitemud.
106 Fest is a collaboration of the communities along 106th street with support from a number of business and organizations. There will be a number of things to see and do along the route as you explore and we’ll be piloting some things in areas along 106 to make it more walkable and bikeable for everyone.
Wow! This summer has been a whirlwind for this hard-working and dedicated committee of the Queen Alexandra Community League!
QA Crossroads is made up of a group of residents who want to work with the city to make improvements to the way that 106 Street and 76 Avenue are used as part of our neighbourhood renewal process. (In case you didn’t know, the City is going to re-do all our neighbourhood’s streets, lights, sidewalks, etc. starting next year. More info).
As part of the Queen Alexandra neighbourhood renewal process, the Community League has launched QA Crossroads. This group's purpose is to work with the city to improve the way that 106 Street and 76 Avenue are used!
